My good buddy Jim offered me a ticket last week for face value to the much coveted championship game.  I can’t afford a thousand dollars for a football ticket but I can do $175 to see the gators play in the championship. Its not exactly something that happens very often.

Unfortunately my travel situation is not very great since I booked my travel kind of late in the game. I leave the day of the game from Tampa and fly to Chicago. I am praying for good weather in Chicago because my flight into Phoenix from Chicago arrives at 3PM, three hours before the game starts.

After the game I have to drive to Los Angeles to catch my flight to Houston so I’m at work by noon the next morning (Tuesday, January 9th). If all goes well it will be an amazing trip.

I wish I could spend more time in Phoenix but there are literally NO flights available to get me out there a little earlier. I got my flight to Phoenix for free from American Airlines because I had $350 in vouchers stored away from a mishap in August. Expect amazing posts live from the game and my travels around January 8th. I hope everything goes as planned.
